All proceeds go to the Blue Mountain Action Council Food Distribution Center--gathering hope for the hungry in need.

  • In Walla Walla, the BMAC Food Distribution Center is the central warehouse supplying nutritious food
to partnering food pantries that, in turn, distribute food supplies to individuals and families seeking help.
  • Walla Walla County has over 10,000 residents who are food insecure, many of whom are children and the elderly.
This means 1 in 5 people in the county are unsure of where their next meal will come from.
  • In 2013, BMAC distributed 616,727 pounds of food to 7 local area food banks, supporting 23,027 household visits
to get food. Every dollar donated to the Food Distribution Center buys enough to feed a hungry person for one day.

Other BMAC Programs include:
job training and placement • affordable rental housing • homeless assistance • energy assistance & education • adult literacy • long term care             ombudsman • pro bono legal aid referral • AmeriCorps • neighborhood revitalization • financial literacy • Supportive Services for Veteran Families
